The benefit is usually once per lifetime, so if it was used for braces as a teenager it may already be spent. We check your specific plan before you commit to anything.

MassHealth orthodontic coverage is limited and depends on medical necessity rather than appearance. It is generally available to members under 21 whose case scores highly enough on a handicapping malocclusion assessment. Adult coverage is rare. Yes. Invisalign is an eligible medical expense for both HSA and FSA, and you can combine those funds with an insurance benefit and a payment plan. FSA funds usually expire at the end of the plan year, so timing treatment to use them is worth planning.
