Smilebar & Insurance
Smilebar does not bill your insurance. You're responsible for your treatment cost and payments. However, if your insurance covers orthodontic treatment, we will be happy to submit a claim on your behalf for reimbursement.
1. Check for an orthodontic benefit
Simply call your insurance company and see if they will cover orthodontic treatment. Be sure to ask if there's an age limit on your policy.
2. Complete our insurance form
Complete our insurance form. Don’t forget to add the policy holders information if you are a dependent. We file the claim once you begin treatment.
3. Wait for payment from your insurance company
Once the claim has been filed, it will take 4-6 weeks to process, depending on your insurance. If you have questions about your claim, contact your insurance company directly.
