You and the Orthodontist discuss your treatment goals and the amount of time it will take for your desired outcome.
We'll then scan your teeth and create a 3D model of your smile and bite. The process takes less than 5 minutes.
Then we'll take an x-ray using the latest in 3D imaging technology
Tooth movement can effect the health of your teeth & gums, underlying bone structure, and change your facial profile. At Smilebar, we use a state-of-the-art & safe Ultra Low Dose 3D imaging machine.
Our doctors can see a vast amount of detailed anatomical information that cannot be achieved with the standard 2D machines that most dental offices use. This means a safer and more accurate outcome for your case.
Start wearing your aligners 21 hours a day
Your first set of aligners arrive in a few weeks. You'll come in for your first fitting and begin wearing your aligners right away. Wear each set of aligners removing them only to eat, brush, and floss.
As you replace each aligner with the next in the series, your teeth will move, little by little, week by week, until they have straightened to the final position.

There are no hidden fees at Smilebar, the price quoted to you during your consultation will be the price of your entire treatment. Your x-rays, scans, aligners, final retainers, and all supplies needed are included as well as refinements after your treatment if needed - we want you to be 100% happy with your smile.
We'll be happy to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. You can use your company's HSA/FSA when eligible.

In most cases, the doctor will give you 3 months of aligners at a time so you make less trips to see the doctor. If you're traveling or unable to come to the office, we can even FedEx aligners to you.

Any general dentist can offer you Invisalign. At Smilebar however, to ensure you get the best treatment our doctors are not only Orthodontists but are VIP Diamond Plus providers of Invisalign® treatment.
Diamond Plus is the highest tier provider of Invisalign® and requires the doctor to have treated over 800 patients with Invisalign® and must continue to treat a minimum of 200 cases every year.
It is imperative that a specialist has approved and is monitoring your case to ensure the best possible results.

What happens at the free consultation?
A 3D scan of your teeth, a review with a specialist orthodontist, a preview of your projected result, and your exact total cost. It takes about 10 minutes and there is no obligation to book treatment.
How many times will I need to come in?
Far fewer times than with braces. The doctor typically issues three months of aligners at a time, and remote monitoring handles check-ins between visits. If you are travelling or cannot get in, we can ship aligners to you.
How long does Invisalign take?
Most adult cases run 6 to 18 months. Simpler cases finish sooner. The single biggest factor is wearing your aligners 20 to 22 hours a day, because time out of the trays is the main cause of treatment running long.
Do I see an orthodontist or a general dentist?
An orthodontist. Any general dentist can offer Invisalign, but at Smilebar your case is planned and monitored by a specialist orthodontist. That is part of why the practice has held VIP Diamond+ status since 2018.
What happens after treatment finishes?
You get final retainers, included in your original price. Teeth move throughout life, so retainers are what protects the result. We also include refinements if the finish needs adjusting.
